Baan Saen Fang, Chiang Mai is a rare hidden architectural gem consisting of 4 distinct northern style wooden lodge in the midst of local structures and flanked by Wat Saen Fang.

A 14th century temple was awaken from slumber after almost 70 years. The temple whose chedi and the ubosot on the west side of the compound is late 19th century Burmese, built during the Burmese occupation of Chiang Mai. The viharn is in the Lanna style and had served as the Royal Hall of Chao Kawilorot; the Sixth Chao Luang or monarchy of northern Thailand.
